REAL GROWTH THIS spring
Spring is a time full of opportunities only if you are ready to do the hike.
Flowers bloom, the sun shines brighter and it’s time to shed away your layers. Spring signifies coming out of darkness. It’s time to grow.
Transitioning from the cold months to warmer light may feel a bit rocky. The energy shifting from an inward-focus to outward-focus requires awareness and delicate attention giving.
A client wrote this on the board at an art therapy session I facilitated this morning, “In order to get over a problem it helps to look at it. You can’t climb a mountain that you pretend isn’t there.” You can’t expect growth and accomplishment without recognising what needs to change. It’s an obvious one, but a great reminder that there is no real progress without doing the work.
To see real growth this spring, ask yourself what you are resisting. See how your life can be better when you recognise the mountain. The willingness to see this is a sign of self-acceptance and self-love.
Spring is a time full of opportunities only if you are ready to do the hike.
